St. Expedite, also known as St. Expeditus, is an unofficial Catholic saint. The date of his birth is unknown, but it is believed he was martyred on April 19th in the year 303 A.D. in Melitene, Turkey.

Little is known about the man behind the legend of St. Expedite, but he is supposed to have been a Roman Centurion who was killed by decapitation.

Because he lost his head, he is regarded as something of a dullard and can easily become confused, therefore, requests must be very specifically worded or else he may misunderstand them.

Promises made to him must be swiftly kept after he has performed the task given to him or else he will withdraw the favor, sometimes with very unpleasant consequences to the spell caster.

According to some, if you do not keep your end of the bargain, he will take the life of one of your family members as payment.
