Before time began

"I've observed you closely, I, the one who's commanded nations and held dominion over tyrants, have been watching you. I have a question for you: Are you truly prepared? Fully prepared for what you've sought? Because I am willing to grant it, but in return, you must make a sacrifice. You must surrender yourself entirely, body and soul, to me. This is the demand I've made of generals, tyrants, rulers of ages who've sought my power. I've asked them to relinquish everything, and in return, I become their ruler. This, too, is what I ask of you: relinquish all, and allow me to rule over you."
