Night madness

"It was cold that night, I remember it so well. we were going over to the slave auctions because you wanted to set them all free. I tried to talk you out of it, the people in that town would never allow you to buy them and set them free but you did not listen. You were always hard headed and stubborn. The night wind was cold and chilled me to the bone, the owl hooted overhead and I knew this night would go wrong. I wish you had listened to me, the owl spoke of death. but you did not and i lost you, and those slavers lost their life. You did not think i would let them go free did you? they took you from me, and they died in a most horrible fashion, and my heart broke in two.
