Yakshas (Demons)

The Yakshas are supernatural beings and demons in the beliefs and legends of India.   They are shapeshifters that are sometimes benign and sometimes malevolent. The Yakshas are the males; they may manifest as handsome youths or as hideous, potbellied, humpbacked black dwarfs depending on their mood. These are considered BA please be aware of this. 

They love hostile and bloodthirsty activities 

The Yakshi or the Yakshini are female spirits, portrayed as voluptuous women, sometimes with the head of a horse.  They will mislead and attack any lone traveler in the forests. These are dangerous as well. These are also considered BA because of their propencity to evil.

The more benevolent of these supernaturals are associated with fertility and propitiated for their protection. These are considered DA because they are benevolent to humans and help with fertility and other such associated things.
