The Jinn are beings created with free will, living on earth in a world parallel to mankind.  The Arabic word Jinn is from the verb ‘Janna’ which means to hide or conceal.  This is an Ifrit, very difficult to control so please have house rules in place. Thus, they are physically invisible from man as their description suggests. I will list some of his abilities: 

1. able to take on any physical form he likes.  Thus, he can appear as humans, animals trees and anything else.  Thousands of people have sighted strange looking creatures all over the world - and it seems more plausible all the sightings of such creatures may have been Jinns parading in different forms.

2. The ability to possess and take over the minds and bodies of other creatures.This however, is something which has been prohibited to him as it is a great oppression to possess another being. 

3. He does like to twist your words to his own benifit somtimes so strict guidelines must be in place to prohibit this. 

These are just a few abilities of his, his power is quite extensive. The scrying mirror is quite lovely and he will also help you develope this ability if you want. He will appear to you in it as well when you develope yourself.
