I have such an affinity for this lady. Every time I see her even when she's going about her buisness in my house fasinated with the TV hahaha. She don't stay all the time but I LOVE her company. I think she got a bum wrap. It's like the old saying Never judge a book by it's cover. What it looks like on the outside may not be what's on the inside and you will be missing a FANTASTIC book.
Same with her, you judge her by what's on the outside, you are missing a FANTASTIC lady. Sure she has powers, sure she can turn you to stone, but not in spirit form, she can frighten the crap out of you where you can't move, and it feels as if she has turned you to stone, even in spirit form if she wishes. But she is a FANTASTIC lady.
THE GORGONES (or Gorgons) were three powerful, winged daemons named Medousa (Medusa), Sthenno and Euryale. Of the three sisters only Medousa was mortal, According to late classical poets, Medousa was once a beautiful maiden who was transformed by Athena into a monster as punishment for lying with Poseidon in her shrine. However, early Greek writers and artists, simply portray her as a monster born of a monstrous family.
